every email program is different, i guess. and even if you could click it, there's no telling what would happen. the browser probably wouldn't launch your bitcoin wallet, unless you've set it up to do so

when I use bitcoin-cli, many rpc commands seem to be marked "DEPRECATED" such as SendToAddress and GetAccountAddress. Were these replaced by something else?
